Survived by wife, Latasha T. LeFlore; son, Kyle W. LeFlore, Jr.; mother and father, Monica and Kay W. LeFlore; brothers, Gabriel and Camren; sisters: Kandy, Malena, and Mikyla.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 15th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES: Tuesday, Jan. 16th at 9:30am at Greater Beth-el Temple, 1502 N. 52 St. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Tuesday at 1pm at Omaha National Cemetery with military honors. Memorials are suggested to Kyle W. LeFlore, Jr. Education Fund.

We are at a loss of words during this sorrowful time. Please know that we are thinking of you and your family and praying for peace and comfort.
You will forever shine bright as you did here on earth. Watch over your family and friends. You were beyond an amazing individual. I will never forget you. Forever in our hearts. Miss you kyle.

Heartfelt Condolence to the Family of Kyle LeFlore,
It is obvious from the kind expressions that Mr. LeFlore will be sadly missed. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
The grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). God’s word is clear, “Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust!…..And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life”. (Isaiah 26:19) Because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for mankind, the restoration of life is guaranteed!
Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All such miraculous events took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come! (Acts 24:15)
May Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time and in the days ahead……
My heart felt sympathy goes out to the family. Kyle will be deeply missed by all. He was my 5th grade student at Saratoga in 2001. A few years ago, Kyle tracked me down and visited me at Belverdere, we had a long talk. This young msn was an inspiration to many. I will continue to keep you in prayer.
I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your family. I did not know SGT Leflore, but As a Fellow Veteran I appreciate and thank Sergeant Leflore for his service to his country. and I hope his family can recover from such a tragic event.

My sincere and deepest condolences. I believe I met Kyle as a youngster when Monica and I worked together at the North Branch YMCA. As a fellow veteran we thank Sergeant Leflore for his outstanding service to our country. Prayers and thoughts be with Monica, Kay and the Family. Peace of the Lord Always!

I never knew Kyle, but I have known Kay and the LeFlore family since kindergarten at Lake Elementary. I know the personality, kindness, and thoughtfulness of his father, Kay. From what I have heard from Kay, Kyle is an extension of Kay, which makes him a very kind, gentle and giving person as his dad. Kyle sounds like a great person to be around. I am very sorry for the family’s loss and I regret not getting the privilege to know Kyle and his character. This incident is such a tragedy to the LeFlore family as well as the United States Army. I read an article, Kyle had received a promotion and was heading to Arizona. He was robbed of a life that he had yet to live. May the LeFlore family members be blessed by the hand of God, keep the memory of Kyle close to your hearts and rejoice a life that was well lived.
