Retired President and C.E.O., Northern Border Pipeline. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Edna DeRoin. Survived by wife, Maurine J. “Twink” DeRoin; children, Scott DeRoin and Lisa Ashby (David); four grandchildren: Blake DeRoin, Meghan DeRoin, Garrett Ashby, and Carson Ashby; brother, Terry DeRoin (Jean).
The family will receive friends Friday, June 16th from 5pm to 7pm at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd. SERVICES Saturday, June 17th at 11am at Presbyterian Church of the Cross, 1517 So. 114 St. Family Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Presbyterian Church of the Cross, Methodist Hospital Foundation, or Nebraska Humane Society.

Sad. Larry was a great man to work with and for at Peoples and Northern Natural Gas. He was smart and a great boss. His sense of humor made coming to work a blast, back in “the day”.
What a great teammate/person Larry was to me. I was always fond of him and remember Larry as a gentle, kind person. Condolences, “Twink”. God Bless.

Twink and family, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I’ve kept Larry in my daily prayers for sometime. I appreciate you and Larry allowing me into your world. Because of that I’m a better person. It was always a pleasure to see you or Larry or the family. He was a great mentor to me and I will never forget it or what he is done. I hope I can help someone else like he help me. Larry was an incredible leader to us at Northern Border. He was gracious, wise and strong and we are all better people as a result of his guidance. The world shines less without him. Sending love to Twink, Lisa and Scott and the family.
