Larry “Noodles” Donnelly

Larry was born on February 2, 1937, in Omaha, NE., to Lawrence and Frances (Schumann) Donnelly.  Larry retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after more than 40 years.  In his spare time, Larry enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling both domestically and internationally, and generating innovative ideas such as chess sets, knives, belt buckles, putters, a bunk bed, and other woodworks.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Donnelly; mother, Frances Donnelly; and brother, David Donnelly.  Survived by wife of 56 years, Margaret (Carlisle) Donnelly; sons: Patrick Donnelly, Michael Donnelly, and Todd Donnelly; six grandchildren: Claire, Sean, Alexandra, Madison, Isabella, and Landon.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, September 22nd at 11am at Calvary Cemetery, followed by lunch and fellowship at the West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society.

    Worked and played ball with Larry. Enjoyed being around him. He will be missed God bless him, family and friends. R.I.P. my friend
