Larry was an avid golfer, talented artist and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed snow skiing, bowling and playing baseball. Larry loved Big Band music and swing dancing. He liked a clean car and a freshly mowed yard. Larry loved dogs, especially his beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Jake. More than anything Larry loved his family. He was the most amazing husband, father and grandfather. He was kind, compassionate, outgoing, funny and always optimistic.  He is loved and will be missed beyond measure.

He related how he had gone through the Rapid City, South Dakota flood that caught many by surprise and caused a number of casualties and how his family managed to escape. They did lose their daughter to an accident with a gun while there however. Then they moved to Omaha to the corporate offices. Later he lost his first wife to a deadly disease. Then his son lost his life in a motorcycle accident as a young man. I always thought that Larry was very talented but just did not want to deal with the politics in his career. Then he met and married his wonderful wife and they stayed in the Ralston community and enjoyed the married life and the children. It was a pleasure to know and work with Larry he will have a special blessing.
