Frank Rudolph Lastovica Dec 9, 1927 Jan 10, 2016 Preceded in death by parents, Helen H. (Hruska) and Frank R. Lastovica; sister, Frances Pistello. Survived by wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Karpisek) Lastovica (married in April, 1950); daughter, Susan Smith of Omaha; son, Frank R. Lastovica (Karen) of Omaha; five grandchildren: Jana McCann (Patrick) of Chicago, Jason Smith (Kathleen) of Omaha, Jessie Smith of Forest Knolls, CA, Christine Hoffman (Ben) of Lincoln, NE, and Frank Lastovica of Omaha; six great-grandchildren: Maggie Smith, Madison Smith, Carrick Smith, Devin McCann, Rory McCann, and Makenna Smith; three brothers: Ed Lastovica (Betty) of Yutan, NE, Raymond Lastovica (Pat) of Elkhorn, NE, and Norman Lastovica (Janet) of Howard, CO; brother-in-law, Tony J. Pistello of Omaha; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Larsen of Omaha and Leona Soukup of North Bend, NE; numerous nieces and nephews. He was employed by Continental Can Company for more than 30 years, retiring in 1985 as a Manager. He was a member of many organizations, including: Omaha Sokol, Mizpah Lodge, Papio Prancers Square Dance Club, Arab Patrol, Road Runners, and Faith Westwood United Methodist Church in Omaha. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, Jan. 23rd at 1pm at the Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth, Neb. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Masonic Home, Tangier Shrine, or Mizpah Masonic Lodge.
