McNabb, LaVerne Age 86, of Omaha, NE, passed away peacefully November 21, 2012. She was born in Heber Springs, AR to William E. and Myrtle M. McGuire. LaVerne was valedictorian of her high school class. She attended business school before meeting and marrying A. C. Rusty McNabb. They lived in Dallas, TX the first part of their lives, later moving to Omaha, NE. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. LaVerne was an avid bridge player and golfer. She was a member of Young Matrons Club and PEO. She was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church. LaVerne was preceded in death by her 5 brothers and sisters and her husband of 64 years, Rusty. She is survived by daughters, Suzanne (Bill) Cady and Diane (Merlyn) Hansen; grandchildren: Scott (Mary) Cady, Danielle (CJ) Rardin, Lindsay (Joel) Stoltenow, and Carly (Dan) Huter. LaVerne also has four great-grandchildren, Tanner and Carson Rardin and Benjamin and Ella Cady. VISITATION begins Friday, Nov 30 at 12noon followed by SERVICES at 1pm at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to AseraCare Hospice of York, NE.
