Layne David Gochanour

April 14, 2004 – June 7, 2024

Born in Omaha, Ne on April 14, 2004, and sadly left the world way too soon on June 7, 2024. Layne was a bright light in everyone’s life and will be missed by all. He grew up in Cawker City, Kansas, Blue Hill, Nebraska, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and finally settling in Bellevue, Nebraska this past year. Layne’s passions in life were riding motorcycles with his younger brother Lucas and spending time with his family and friends.

Layne is survived by his mother, Heather Schultz of Plattsmouth; father, Ray Gochanour of Council Bluffs, Iowa; older sisters: Lexa, Lacey and Layla Adams; younger brother, Lucas Gochanour; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents: Carl and Barbara Schultz, Dave and Anna Gochanour.

Family will receive friends Saturday, June 15^th, from 4-6PM at West Center Chapel. 

Memorial Service and Luncheon: Monday, June 17^th, 11AM at Compass Christian Church, 2007 S. 7^th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
