Leona F. (Galas) Smejkal Janak
March 20, 1929 – July 21, 2022
Preceded in death by parents, John and Victoria; husbands, Joseph F. Smejkal and Richard T. Janak; five sisters and ten brothers; grandson, Baby Tommy. Survived by her and Joseph’s children: Susan Klauschie (David), Mary Jane Huber (Tom), Joe Smejkal (Vicki), and Nancy Dahir (Jim); grandchildren: Tommy Huber (Monica), Beth Klauschie Perez (Ramiro), and Tim Huber (Kristi); great-grandchildren: Karson, Ellie, Landon, Mallory, Chelsea, and Damian; brother, Eddie Galas; nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday, July 25th from 9:30am to 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3122 S. 74th St., followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am. Interment, St. John Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Josie Harper Hospice House and Servants of Mary, Omaha.

Your mom was always someone that made everyone feel comfortable. I spent a lot of time at her house when I was young. So sorry for your loss.
My heart goes out to all who loved Aunt Leona. I have some nice memories of her. I loved looking at the FB pictures of her. God bless all. Betty
