Leonard J. “Moe” Gass
Nov 22, 1933 – Jan 24, 2017
Proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War; member, Omaha Police Department. Preceded in death by parents, two sisters, and four brothers. Survived by wife, Margie; children: Linda Larimore (Nick), Scott Gass (Pam), Steve Gass (Kim Bennett); grandchildren: Bradley and Adam Lewis, Jonathan, Richard and Ashley Gass, Jordan and Alex Gass; great-grandchildren: Trent, Taiden, Colten and Hudson Lewis, Harper, Ellie and Rilynn Gass, Crofton, Sawyer and Maguire Gass; sisters, Lori White and Irene Klein; brothers: Ken, Howard, Charles, and John; many nieces and nephews, family members, friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 27th, 5pm to 7pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, Jan. 28th, 12noon, St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military honors by Millard American Legion Post 374 & VFW Post 8334. Memorials are suggested to American Lung Association or Alzheimer’s Association.

Today I celebrate the life of a man that meant the world to me and my family. Rest easy Gramps we have the watch.
