Leslie Ann (Foster) Adam

October 2, 1946 – April 13, 2025

Leslie was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Mildred (Dager) & Richard Foster, she moved to Bellevue, NE in 1961.

She had two younger sisters, Judy and Ginny.  In her younger years, Leslie traveled to many parts of the world as her father was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U. S. Air Force.

Leslie enjoyed hanging out with family and friends and she had a lot of both! In addition, Leslie enjoyed sewing, working out with her husband, playing with her dogs, and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her husband, Thomas W. Adam Sr., and her family. Leslie Graduated from Bellevue High in 1964.  She was a proud member of “Daughter’s of the American Revolution”

Leslie Foster married Thomas W. Adam Sr. in 1975. Thomas and Leslie were married for 50 years.

They had 2 daughters, Tanya Linear and Nicole (Mike) Avila. In addition, Leslie had four stepchildren: Laura Jean (Mark) Walls of La Vista, NE, Deborah Lynn (Michael) Early, of San Diego, CA, Rachelle Ann (Kevin) Milner, of Las Vegas, NV, and Thomas Warren (Stephanie Garcia) Adam, Jr., of Omaha, NE.

Leslie and Thomas owned several convenience stores in Papillion and the Westmont area, including two called Adam’s Gas & Groceries. Leslie also worked for A. C. Nelson and later for Walmart until she retired.

Leslie leaves behind her sister, Judy (Foster) Lovelady; nieces: Carrie Williams, Heather Wagner, and Jamee Yanchunas-Cooper.  All 15 of her grandchildren: Natalie, Rachel, Grace, Shane, Tavares, Trajen, Tanesha, Luq, Kyler, Lance, Logan, Meghan, Lucas, Hope and Hunter; 12 great-grandchildren: Meredith, Conrad, Easton, Bentley, Oliver, Colby, Emma, McKayla, Masey, Carter, Aushia and Tamzin.

Funeral: Monday, April 21st, 11am at West Center Chapel.

Interment: St. John’s

Reception to follow at the home of Nikki & Mike Avila, 807 Fenwick St., Papillion, NE  68046

    So sorry for your loss!! I know how close you were to both your mom and dad. I know it has been a difficult time for you.
