John G. Liakos Jan 1, 1940 – Sep 27, 2016 Known to his friends as Greek. Preceded in death by parents, George and Victoria Liakos; brothers: Leo, Tom, Gus and William; sister, Ann. Survived by wife, Elisabeth Liakos; sons, Charles Liakos (Julie) and Andrew Liakos (Trisha); grandchildren: Jonathan, Victoria, Jenna and Hannah Liakos, Katherine Albers, Mallory and Eleanor Liakos; sister, Angeline Liakos; sisters-in-law: Kay Liakos, Shirley Liakos, and Jean Jorgensen. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 4th, from 5pm to 7pm, Bel Air Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Nebraska Organ Recovery System (N.O.R.S.), Fontenelle Forest, or Omaha Community Playhouse.
