My prayers are with the family and friends. Linda Lemon served as a spirit filled social worker serving her patients, and co workers with gladness and always as a Christian professional lady. I am shocked and saddened but also rejoicing in her homecoming. May God be with you.

I was privileged to know Linda while she worked at Nebraska Medicine as a fellow social worker. Every memory I have she is smiling, laughing, offering kind words and support. You could just see kindness emanating from her, she felt safe and caring. We all have experienced more joy in our lives because of Linda. Bless you dear social worker. My Grandma would say she has a very high place in heaven.

Linda Lemon was one of my supervisors when I did my social work practicum at UMNC. She was simply amazing. I will forever be grateful to have worked with her. Her favorite saying was TEAM Work. Together Everyone Achieves More. Heaven gained an angel. Deepest condolences to Linda’s family. May god bless all of you during this difficult time. Lonnie Jack

Sending my most heartfelt condolences to Linda’s family, church family, and friends. It was my absolute privilege to know her and work closely with her. She filled our work days with laughter and never ceased to surprise me with the things she would say! I still think of her “catchphrases,” like “five-star service,” “a woman with skills,” “commendable” and “I know that’s right,” to name a few. She was a pillar here in our work community, serving generations of women and children, teaching and mentoring countless social work students, and supporting colleagues. She was an example of grace, professionalism, caring spirit, and strong values. Her love and dedication to her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren, and her church family was a delight to witness. I am forever a better person and social worker because I knew her. Thank you, Ms. Linda for all that you were and the legacy you leave behind.
    – Amanda (or Ms. Amanda as you always called me)
