Linda A. Zimmerman-Morgan
June 6, 1948 – June 14, 2023
Born June 6, 1948, to Thomas William and Eleanor (Bath) Zimmerman of Dayton, Ohio, and entered eternal rest at Ovation Memory Care in Omaha, Nebraska on June 14, 2023. Linda grew up, and attended school and church in Sulfur Grove, Dayton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Otterbein College of Westerville, Ohio with a BS in Elementary Education; a Master of Education (reading) from the University of Guam, and an advanced study in Ed., from the college of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia.
She worked as an elementary school teacher from 1981-1984, moving up to an assistant principal and school administrator with Gloucester and Grafton, Virginia public schools. From 1984-1992 she worked as a marketing and account executive. 1992-2013 she was the director of development for Duchesne Academy (3 years), Clarkson College (2 years) and Brownell Talbot school (16 years), retiring in 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. She is survived by her husband, James L. Morgan, Jr.; brother, Thomas William Zimmerman, Jr.; sister-in-law, Virginia Eddy; stepson, Jon Morgan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Morgan and Zimmerman families.
VISITATION: Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 9:00-10:30AM, Living Faith United Methodist Church, 5310 S. 182nd Ave., Omaha, NE, followed by FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30AM. INTERMENT: Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Brownell Talbot School, Nebraska Humane Society, or Living Faith Methodist Church.

I am sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. May you find comfort and peace in your memories of her well-lived life and boundless love of life.

I am so very sorry to learn of Linda’sf death. She was a beautiful person in every way. My prayers for all of the surviving family.
To the Morgan and Zimmerman family, So sorry to hear for the loss of Linda. I’m sure she will be sorely missed by her family. James and Linda were 2 of my brothers dearest friends. Sending our condolences from the Kirkwood Family.
