Linda Kay McIntire
April 29, 1948 – August 3, 2023
Linda McIntire was born to parents, Clinton and Rose Buntgen of David City, Nebraska, on April 29, 1948, and passed in her home near Elizabeth, Colorado, on August 3, 2023, with her husband Dave, and son Michael, by her side.
Linda earned her high school diploma from David City High School and took some college classes at nearby community colleges. Linda and Dave were married in Omaha, NE, on June 26, 1982.
Linda loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time searching for good deals on valuables, collectibles, antiques and jewelry and then reselling them for a fair price. She was very proud of her perfect rating on her eBay store. Linda also enjoyed gardening, cooking/baking, traveling and she loved taking in Nature’s beauty.
Linda was very brave in her fight and faced the challenges head on, but hurdle after hurdle was thrown in front of her. Over time, it became apparent the path God had laid out for her. Linda elected to spend her remaining time comfortably at home, with her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Dave; sons, Michael and Mick; daughter, Sheri; sister, Suzie; brothers, Bill, Dick, Larry and Wayne; grandchildren, Megan, Abbey and Savannah; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Rose; niece, Melinda; nephew, Derek.

Sending my love and condolences to our family wishing I could be there. Mom was a special woman. Through all of our ups and downs I still loved her dearly.
Dave & Michael- Sending my love and prayers to both of you. I will forever remember Linda’s smiling face and all the fun times we had together during our “Elk Street” days. I will always treasure Linda’s friendship, especially celebrating birthday breakfasts together that often lasted into the lunch hour. We never ran out of subjects to talk and laugh about. Linda was a beautiful and sweet soul who I will miss very much.
All my love,
Jeanne
