Linda Kay (Lane) Dale

Linda Kay (Lane) Dale was born on June 18, 1943, and passed away on October 12, 2023, at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy in Omaha.
Linda was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert and Bertha Mae Lane, the youngest of three children, and graduated from Rosedale High in 1961.
She married Rick Dale in Kansas City on August 20, 1966, and moved to Martin, South Dakota. They were blessed with two children: Lisa Lynne in 1967 and Richard Lane in 1969. Linda had many talents and skills and applied those as an interior designer, Clinic manager and clothing store owner, just to name a few. Linda and Rick moved to Ogallala in 1986, where Linda lived until her passing.
Linda gained a son-in-law, Kim, in 1997 and was blessed with her greatest loves: Daryn in 1998, Kamryn in 2001 and Lauryn in 2002. She loved her family with her whole heart and truly enjoyed being their biggest fan and cheerleader.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa, and son-in-law, Kim Willman, of Grand Island, Nebraska, as well as her three granddaughters, Daryn (fiancé AJ Slaughter) of Glenwood, Iowa, and Kamryn and Lauryn Willman, both of Omaha, Nebraska. Linda is also survived by a sister, Roberta Grauberger of Rockport, Texas; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Lane; Lynne Mooney, many nephews and nieces; a cousin, Kathy Vetter; a bonus son and daughter, Dallas and Carmen Kime; and her amazing friends of whom she had many!
Linda was preceded in death by her son, Rich; her parents; a brother, Bob; a brother-in-law, George; and her former husband, Rick Dale.
A private family burial and celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
