My deepest condolences to John, Mark, and Jim – and all those who were blessed to know Linda. She was a wonderful person. If I’d had a thousand cousins, she would have still been my favorite. I’m going to miss her so, so much.

My heart is hurting for all of us who loved Linda. A wonderful friend and cousin. I have a million good memories going back to when we were children.

To the family of Mrs. Linda L. Hazuka, you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Hazuka was a God sent angel for many of her Omaha North High School students like me. I cannot thank God enough for allowing our paths to cross. Mrs. Hazuka is truly unforgettable and will always hold a place in my heart. TGFLH – Thank God for Mrs. Linda L. Hazuka!

To the family of Mrs. Linda Hazuka,

Mrs. Hazuka was one of a kind! When Chiara Smith called me last night to relay the message I exclaimed, “NO! Not Mrs Hazuka… I can still see her smile!” During my sophomore year at Omaha North High School, My Counselor Mrs. Kocsis introduced me to Mrs. Hazuka by saying: This is Roberta White. You need to know her. I’m not sure if Mrs. Hazuka needed to know me, but I know that I wouldn’t be where I am in life if it wasn’t for her. Senior, she’d get me out of class to complete the application for a new found scholarship whose deadline was at the end of the day. Her passion to see Vikings succeed knew no end.

I was blessed to have such a wonderful Aunt. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever known and will be truly missed. Aunt Linda made the best pot roast and mint brownies for Christmas each year and always had a smile on her face. Take care of Uncle Tony and God Bless John, Mark, Jim, Mia and family. My thoughts and prayers to you all.

I am so sorry John, Jim and Mark. And other family and friends. My heart breaks for you all.
I’ve known Linda for many years. We went to the zoo, ran around to stores, dr. offices, Farmers Market. And one of the most exciting was to go see Bernie Sanders at Baxter Arena! I will miss my friend very much.

We so much wanted to be there with you John , Mark and Jim. We were glad to watch the video service and listen to what was said about your Mom. Linda was very special , loving , caring and had a great sense of humor. We will miss her .

We are so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. We attended the video services. and remembered how we would get together with Linda and Tony and Carol’s family when Carol and Mike were in town. I will always remember Linda’s mad UNO card skills – except when Mike cheated and she often would have to bear the brunt of that – hilariously. We shared so much laughter – it saddens me so to know she’s left. Our hearts and prayers are with you all.
