Linda L. Jankowski

Linda L. Jankowski

July 8, 1948 – February 23, 2025

Linda was born on July 8, 1948, in Stromsburg, NE, to Verlin and Roberta Fellows. She was the youngest of two daughters with older sister, Donna. She was raised on a farm outside of town and was a graduate of Stromsburg High School in 1966. She attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln from 1966 to 1969 and finished her degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1973. Linda and Jim met at the UNL and married on December 27, 1969, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Omaha, NE. Linda was a creative and talented florist and decorator, working in that field most of her life. She and Jim raised three children, Matt, Mandy, and Mark. Linda had a big heart and a bigger faith. She enjoyed holidays, especially the Fourth of July, parties, shopping, walking with her dog and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, a lot.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Roberta Fellows; and in-laws, Ralph and Daisy Jankowski. She is survived by her husband, Jim; sister, Donna (Jim) Walters; children: Matt (Alesha) Jankowski, Mandy (Justin) Grint, Mark Jankowski; grandchildren: Trevor (Caroline) O’Hara, Kaycee, and Gus Grint; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this family for a little over 25 years. I never really got to see them as often as I would have liked. Wonderful family, and especially Linda. My heart hurts for this family. I wish to extend condolences out to Jim, Matt, Mandy and Mark and their loved ones. I pray you find some peace in the upcoming days and remember and celebrate all the special times you had together!!

    Jim & family,
Bob & I are so sad that Linda had to endure going through cancer treatments. She was the nicest person & a gift to anyone that met her. Her great smile made you feel so welcomed. This seems so unreal, we were just all together with all of you & our cabin friends in August. Your memories of her, good times & bad will help with your loss. We are sad for your loss. Prayers! Love, Bob & Liz Kubat

    Jim and Family,
Linda worked for me when I owned Rose Court. She was a very talented designer of both fresh and artificial floral. She was as beautiful as all that she designed. So sorry for your loss. May God;s peace be with you.
