Lois R. “Pritch” Pritchard

Lois was born in Omaha, NE, graduated from Benson High School in 1949, and attended Duchesne College. Lois was a United Airlines flight attendant for 40-plus years, blending global travels with a personal devotion to the Lord. She taught hundreds of flight attendants at United’s stewardess training center in Cheyenne, WY, then lived in Manhattan Beach, CA, working Pacific flights out of Los Angeles International airport. Lois made regular trips to India and Tibet while volunteering for the Thomas A. Dooley Foundation, which operated medical clinics near the Chinese border. She retired in Kerrville, TX, and remained there more than 20 years, volunteering at Notre Dame Catholic Church. The last few months of her life were in Omaha with family.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, J. Stanley and Blanche Pritchard; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and James Maxey. Survived by twin brother, Bill Pritchard (Lorraine); sister, Dolores Wolff (Jack); numerous nieces and nephews, and loving friends worldwide.

VISITATION begins Monday, Jan. 30th at 10am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 11am at the church. Memorials to Mount Michael Abbey in Elkhorn, NE, or Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, TX.

    Lois was a much admired neighbor here in The Summit in Kerrville Texas . She is missed . May she rest in peace .
