Survived by husband, Pastor Herman Brown, founder of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church; ten children, seven girls and three boys; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Lee Stokes. VISITATION: 8-10:30am, Tuesday, March 22 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11am Tuesday, March 22 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 2706 Victoria Ave. Interment: Bellevue Cemetery.
