Louise T. Dalhoff

DALHOFF, Louise T. Oct 12, 1928 – Oct 8, 2013 Louise Theresa Dalhoff was carried on the wings of angels to heaven on October 8, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Francis W. (Frank) Dalhoff. Born on October 12, 1928, Louise grew up on the farm near Roselle, Iowa. She married Frank on November 21, 1950, and shortly thereafter moved to Omaha. After the birth of her four children, she went to work as a cook for District 66 schools, and was known for her excellent cooking skills, especially her cinnamon rolls. Louise was a loving mother who instilled in her children and grandchildren a strong faith in God with a caring and generous heart. She was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Bertha Klocke; brothers: Alfred, Harold, and Paul Klocke. She is survived by her husband, Frank; children: Steve (Maureen) Dalhoff, Diane (Val) Carpenter, Mary Jo (Mike) Zabel, and David (Kelly) Dalhoff; grandchildren: Bill (Melissa), Tom, Jim, and John (Katie) Dalhoff, Kendy McCoy, Becky (Josh) LaFromboise, Daniel (Kaela) and Scottie Carpenter, Matt (Amanda), Mike, and Freddie Markey, Annie (Sylvia) Novo, and Eric Dalhoff; great-grandchildren: Clara, Emme, and Will Dalhoff, Jordon and Kaylee Carpenter, Kendree and Peyton Morton, Chloe and Colt LaFromboise, Colby Carpenter and Hunter Markey; sisters, Lillian Gehling and Dorothy Steinkamp. The family will receive friends Friday, October 11th from 5pm to 7pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, October 12th at 9:30am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum.
