My condolences to Lucy’s loved ones. Lucy and my late father, Joe Costanzo, were first cousins. Uncle Sam was my grandfather Joe’s older and beloved brother. When Lucy was in her 20s, she volunteered at Children’s Hospital where I was a polio patient for 9 months. I looked forward to my sweet, beautiful cousin’s visits to read to me. I was 9 years old and looked up to my dear relative. I’ll always cherish the memories of the time she spent with me. Love, Sue

My Aunt Lucy was an amazing woman…always a help and encouragement to all of us Majorek children and the best sister to our mother. Our thoughts and prayers to Mary & Todd, Larry and Frances. Thank you for sharing you mother. She will be missed by many.

Aunt Lucy was a joy and will be sorely missed. I loved her spirit and enthusiasm for life. I’ll miss her ready laugh and the stories she told about all the Majorek kids. She was always there for us, and especially Mom. She will always have a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers to Mary and Larry and your families–she was so very proud of you and loved you so much.

Some of my favorite memories are when we could go and stay with Nana and Aunt Lucy for a week in the summer….they were always so kind to us, and Aunt Lucy was especially fun when she would let us wear her perfume and walk us down to the corner store to buy penny candy! A special Godmother to all of us, and such a good friend to our mom even when Mom was so ill………we are forever grateful for her unconditional love!
