To this brother who will be humble far from the land of this ancestor, far from your mother who cherished us but also from your father so well anchored in African traditions. We lean forward today with eyes full of tears not for weakness but to recognize your commitment, your kindness but also your dedication to your common cause. Worthy descendants of Kita, we pay you a well-deserved tribute for your sense of listening, of support but also of your availability. Certainly a brother will be humiliated but we will keep you in mind for the rest of our lives. Go in peace, African warrior, we will give you deserved and worthy support this Sunday, June 23.
The whole family forgives you and prays for the rest of your soul.

Heaven now hears your wonderful laughter, oh how lucky they are. You will be missed my friend. To all that loved Makan, I am sorry for your loss and to those that helped him in the end, thank you for your wonderful commitment. I’m sure he will be at the gates waiting with a hug.
My sympathies to Makan’s family, friends and all who loved him. A gift beyond measure that our paths met and I got to know you for just a small part of our lives. I will never forget your loyalty or your generosity. You gave honor and kindness to me & my family. Perhaps some day we can once again enjoy each other’s company. I am very much missing our almost daily conversations. Rest now, my friend.
Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he reat in peace.
