I remember when the Zortman family met often forty years or so ago at the home of Maralee’s parents or at Gene and Charlotte Zortman’s to work on the Zortman family history book. Maralee was always so interested in the lives of her cousin Dan Cutler and his family. A beautiful soul!

Maralee was a bright spark of a soul. My mothers cousin. Condolences to her family.

I remembered Aunt Maralee would sign in the mornings when she made breakfast. It was our alarm clock when I stayed over with my cousins. It makes me smile today, because I can still hear her. I hope she is in peace now and united with Uncle Stan. They were both very special people. THANKS for the memories. Love you and your family.

Maralee was my mom’s cousin. I think I only met her once that I remember at her Aunt Lela Cutler’s funeral. My mom, Amy has been gone since 1984 but remember many good and special stories about her and Maralee being cousins and most of all friends. I know that she will be missed by those who knew her well. God Bless. Lois Peacock, Lebanon, Mo.
