Marcia M. Imig, 72, of Omaha, NE passed away on May 30, 2025 after a prolonged illness. Marcia was born in Omaha on September 29, 1952, to Henry Scott and Nadine Jensen.  Marcia graduated from Central High School in 1970, and completed 2 ½ years of study at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  In 1971, Marcia met Ervin Imig at UNO.  Marcia and Ervin were married on February 17, 1973.

Marcia and Ervin went on to have one daughter, Elizabeth and a grandson, Tobyn.  Marcia was involved with the order of Eastern Star and International order of Rainbow for girls.  In her spare time she liked to do cross-stitch, read romance novels, and watch her beloved Avalanche hockey team.

Marcia was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Jensen; father, Henry Scott; twin sister, April Scott; brother-in-law, John Imig.

She is survived by her husband, Ervin; daughter, Elizabeth; grandson, Tobyn; mother, Nadine; sister-in-law, Susan Scheppke; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of  flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Omaha Home for Boys, 4343 N 52nd St, Omaha, NE 68104, Masonic Eastern Star Home, 2415 N Main St, Fremont, NE 68025 or  Freemont Children’s Home or the Nebraska Masonic Home, 1300 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048 or to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

 SERVICES: Friday, June 20, 2025, beginning with an EASTERN STAR SRVICE  starting at 10:30AM followed immediately by a MEMORIAL SERVICE AT  Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2725 N. 60th Ave, Omaha, NE 68104.

There will be a luncheon served after the service.

INTERMENT: Mt. Hope Cemetery
