Marcus “Marc” Brust
August 29, 1973 – March 8, 2022
Marcus was born August 29, 1973, in Omaha, Nebraska. Marc and his mother moved to Gering, Nebraska shortly after his birth. He enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, especially fishing with his grandfather. Marc and his mother moved back to Omaha in 1984 where Marc finished school and began his work career in construction. He later joined the NP Dodge Property Management Team as a maintenance technician.
Marc was diagnosed with kidney disease and received the gift of life with a kidney transplant in 2012.
Marc met his life partner, Amanda, in 2010. They enjoyed camping with friends, working around the house and enjoying their animal family members.
Marc was a friend to all. Rest In Peace. You will be missed by all.
Preceding him in death were grandparents, James and Mary Brust. Survivors include mom, Sue (Michael); life partner, Amanda; uncle, Thom (Daphne); and many friends.
Family will receive friends Monday, March 14th from 5pm to7pm at West Center Chapel. Memorials may be made to Nebraska Kidney Association.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you🙏🏻
Marc you were such a great friend and will be truly missed. We had so much fun together, from you camping with us to you joining us for the holidays. You were part of our family, you were an uncle to our children, there are so many great memories; I could go on and on. I met you through Peter and you two were best friends since from your early teens when you two were wrecking havoc and getting into trouble. We love you big guy and we will miss you terribly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Marcus was such a good friend and teacher.
