February 25, 1936 – January 13, 2021
Retired Executive Director, Omaha Bar Association. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by husband, George L. Johnston; children: Kurt Korinek (Suzy), Kreg Korinek (Kristin), Kris Korinek (Lisa), Michelle Hellmann, Sean Johnston; eight grandchildren.
PRIVATE Family Service: Wednesday, January 20th at 1pm at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Forest Lawn. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Sad news, Mardee was our dear friend for many years., our Condolences to George and her family.
My sympathies to the entire family. Thoughts will be with you on Wednesday.
We enjoyed hockey games, trips, golf, going out to eat, etc with Mardee and George. We went to church on Christmas Eve and celebrated New Year With them. We were with her and George celebrating the KC Chiefs.win shortly before she went into the hospital. We will miss her.
I knew Mardee in my childhood. Family friends. She was the “cool” parent. Always laughing and super hip! She loved her boys dearly. My sympathies for the family.
