 Preceded in death by husband, Arlo Kenneth Andersen.

VISITATION: Friday, July 1st from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, July 2nd at 10:30am, Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th St., with Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard.  Interment, Hillcrest.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lutheran Church of the Master.

Margaret Alfreda Bloebaum Andersen, daughter of Herman and Erma (Couper) Bloebaum, born on September 5, 1926 in Elgin, Nebraska. She had three brothers: Al, Bill and Harold, who have preceded her in death.  She graduated from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in teaching.  She also met her future husband, Arlo K. Andersen-deceased at Dana College.  They were united in marriage on August 21, 1949.  They had five children: Keith (deceased), James (Pat), Ruth Behrens (Warren), Carol, all of Omaha and Lisa Wigdor (Paul), of Montclair, New Jersey; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.  She taught at a country school and later at a nursery school in Omaha.  She was also an Avon lady.  Later she went back to school and became an LPN.  She worked for Bergan Mercy Hospital for many years as a nurse, specializing in Labor/Delivery/Newborn Nursery.  She was very active at Lutheran Church of the Master.  She leaves a large family whom are forever impacted by her love and devotion.

    I enjoyed knowing her & serving with her at LCM. I am sorry for your loss but excited for her. SHE MADE IT! God Bless all of you!

    I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. She was such a loving and caring person and a wonderful nurse. May fond memories of her help you through your grieving process

    i only knew margaret for a short time while married to warren behrens’s sister the late terri l roberts. she was a very hospitable women who always welcomed us into her home, especially on the 4th of july. she was a doll and will be sorely missed. my condolences to her daugher and my sister in law ruth and my brother in law warren jr and step nieces and nephews warren III ( mike), laura, andrea and robert.
