Marge was truly kind and helpful to me when we worked together at the Omaha Police Department. I distinctly remember the day that we discovered the South Omaha connection between her and my mom. When my daughter was younger, Marge went to the extra effort of sending two Christmas cards to us – one for my husband and me, and another for Rachel. Marge and I also shared a fondness for Creighton basketball! I extend my sincere sympathy to Marge’s family.

I was so sad to learn about Marge’s passing. I worked with Marge at the Omaha Police Department for a number of years prior to her retirement in 2015. Marge was always so kind to me, and would go out of her way to pop in my office, or stop me in the break room, just to talk and see how things were going. I distinctly remember our discussions about Creighton basketball, the annual St. Cecilia’s Cathedral flower show, and the many musical performances she attended throughout the Omaha area. Marge was truly one of a kind, and she had a feistiness to her personality (in a good way) that I and many others greatly appreciated. It always brightened my day when I was able to interact with Marge, and I will truly miss her.

We were very saddened to hear of Marge’s passing. Marge is a longtime family friend. Marge was one of Steve’s mother/Nola Vaccaro’s bestfriends all the way back to grade school and worked with Steve’s dad/Jack Vaccaro for many years at the Omaha Police Station. Marge attended many family gatherings and was always such a giving wonderful person. She will be sadly missed. We are so sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

Known Marge for years while on Omaha Police Department and her involvement with neighborhood efforts. Marge’s wit, wisdom and willingness to help others will be missed by many. Eternal rest my friend.

Marge was such a wonderful person and a friend to many. I also had the pleasure of wroking with Marge at OPD for many years. I always valued her oponion and her work ethic. Until we meet again “rest in peace”. . Jack ODonnell
