Marguerite G. (Brandt) Glassman

Marguerite “Grand” passed at home after decades of suffering from a multitude of afflictions.
Grand was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Francesca (Spensieri) Brandonisio, later known as Joe and Frances Brandt. She was the youngest child, surviving her brothers, Nick and Anthony Brandt, and sisters, Mary Bozak, Rebecca Petersen and Gemma Brandt and grandson Nicholas White.
Grand was blessed with an abundance of love in the way of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Jerrie Glassman, Mark and Debbie Glassman, son, Michael Glassman, and daughter and son-in-law, Maggie and Fred Marino. Grand spent her final years living with Maggie and Fred.
Her grandchildren are Paul Glassman, Freddy Marino, Brooke and husband, Curry Wittrock, Jacqueline Glassman, Jessica and husband, Chad Bloodworth, John Glassman, Tony White, and Tina and husband, Anthony Shoemaker; great-grandchildren: Mya and Elana Glassman, Corvin, Cade and Aubrey Wittrock, Tyler and Nick White, Titan, Helix and Moses Glassman, Jaxson Shoemaker and Emerson Bloodworth. She also has many loved nieces and nephews.
Grand was a beautiful person with a deep Catholic faith that shaped those she knew and loved. May she find the eternal peace and happiness she is so deserving of in Heaven. Her spirit will live on in everyone she touched. She will always be missed and remembered as our beloved “Grand”.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 4th from 4pm to 7pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 So. 86th St, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, May 5th at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Entombment, Resurrection Mausoleum.
