The Mach Family: I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother. I so remember the great times we had as chaperones for the Union Pacific Drum and Bugle Corp. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Charlene Walsh, Port St. Lucie, Florida

Dear Family Members, I worked with Marian at the telephone company. She was the sweetest, kindest member of our group and always a joy to visit with. She’s the only person I’ve known who had both knees replaced at the same time and never complained! She loved her family so much. I’ll remember her lovely smile. I send my condolences at this sad time.

Dear Loved Ones, I worked with Marian at the telephone company, and my husband and I both worked with her and Charlie as Docents at Henry Doorly Zoo. They were both kind and thoughtful people to be around, and I am so glad that we got to know and be with them. May God uplift your spirits during this difficult time in your lives.

Russell and I are so sorry that we can’t be with you in person today. We each plan to be with you virtually.

I was a docent with Marian at the zoo and at the Durham Museum, knew Charlie also. Both were wonderful people. Marian always had a smile on her face. Rest in piece Marian.
