August 26, 1934 – December 24, 2021

Died peacefully at Josie Harper Hospice House.  Loving mother of Cheryl Gray and Geri Hopkins (Gordon). Cherished grandmother of Alan and Alex Goodoien, Austine Watzke, Audrya Bacon (deceased) (Keith), Brittany Lafaille (Tyler), Austin Hopkins; ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends January 22nd from 9:30am to 11am followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 11am, all at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Avenue.  Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Josie Harper Hospice House.

Marian was the daughter of Alois “Butch” and Della Krause in Primrose, Nebraska.

Loving mother of Cheryl Gray and Geri Hopkins (Gordon), cherished grandmother of Alan and Alex Goodoien, Austine Watzke, Audrya Bacon (deceased) (Keith), Brittany Lafaille (Tyler), Austin Hopkins; ten great-grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers, Duane Krause (Helen) and Ronnie Krause.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Francis, Aloys “Al”, Stan Krause; sister, Joann Krause.

Marian retired from the Omaha Public School District in 1999.  She was very active at Holy Cross and The Legion of Mary.

The family will receive friends January 22nd from 9:30am to 11am followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 11am, all at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Avenue.  Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Josie Harper Hospice House.

    An amazing woman left this earth. She was brave and kind. She was full of love and shared her love with anyone she met. Safe travels to heaven Aunt Marian for that is surely where you are. You will be missed!
