Marianne was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of knowing. She had so much Council Bluffs history, it was mind-boggling. Marianne touched so many lives in so many ways — She will be missed. Condolences to her children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, and many, many family members and friends. We will miss you, cousin. Much love, Deb Lyons Pauley

Sending love and thoughts to Marianne’s family. I was proud to be part of her work world if only for a short period. She will truly be missed by many.

😇Our hearts cry with Marianne’s family. She genuinely cared about people. Her kindness can only be mimicked as we too attempt to be a Guardian of Gods kindness . Marianne’s leaves an empty space in this world . Love to the family she leaves behind. ❤️

I love you all, with all my heart. I would give anything to be there in person. All Mike’s and my thoughts and prayers are with you, of course. I’m sure my parents and yours greeted Marianne in heaven, and they’re all eagerly catching up; that’s something they’d all love.

Marianne was the nicest woman you would ever meet. I knew her from Nebraska Furniture Mart and she sold me a lot of things over the years. Also, I worked on her yard for so many years, mowing, tree trimming and I did not ever charge her for fertilization because I knew God told me to take care of her. I will definitely miss her dearly, until we see her again in Heaven.
    Your dear friend, Mark Burrell
