FEDDERSEN, Marie K., was born August 25, 1921 to Anton and Anna (Grof) Klein in Steinauer, Nebr. She passed away at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebr. on Feb. 14, 2009 at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 20 days. She married Elmer Feddersen on Nov. 27, 1954, in Omaha. In 1944 she and her best friend, Margaret Rinne, worked at a defense plant in California for a couple of years. They came back to Nebraska and worked at the Elgin Watch Co. in Lincoln for 5 years. Marie went to work as a telephone operator for LT &T in Omaha and retired from there after 30 years. She loved to travel, dance, play cards, and always liked a good laugh, even on herself. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 2005; parents; 3 brothers: Dr. John, Frank and Raymond Klein; a sister, Margaret Branek; and 3 brothers and sisters who died in infancy. Left to mourn are brother-in-law and wife, John and Jeannie Feddersen; sister-in-law, Emma McConnel; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
