BURKE, Marjorie Aug 8, 1915 Feb 1, 2014 Marjorie Burke passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Raymond; her brother, John Beener of Omaha; and her son, Dr. Ronald R. Ron Burke, formerly of the UNO Dept. of Philosophy and Religion. She is survived by 6 children: JoAnn Burke of Mesa, Arizona, Sr. Rosalee Burke, N.D., of Omaha, Barbara Burke of Indianapolis, Indiana, Denis Burke of South Bend, Indiana, Brian Burke and Trish Waters of Irvington, New York, and Larry Burke of Portland, Oregon; daughter-in-law, Mary Dworak Burke; 5 grandchildren: Rebecca, Kathryn, John, Claire, and Hannah. VIGIL SERVICE Tuesday, February 4th at 7pm, West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, February 5th at 10am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment, Wednesday, 2:30pm, Atlantic, Iowa Cemetery.
