Mark was such a caring friend to so many, a gentle and wise spirit and someone we will always be proud to call our friend. Even as he struggled with his Cancer he stayed upbeat and tried so hard to keep the mood light and hopeful with his friends and family. The loss of having Mark on this Earth is tough for all ( family , friends, co-workers ) ,but we are all better for knowing him and we know his spirit will abide in many of us well into the future. God Bless his beautiful wife and family , Mark is one we all have no doubt is sitting at the feet of our Lord.

Dear Lori and Family, we were surprised and saddened to learn of Mark’s passing. We fondly remember our early years in Union Pacific’s Finance Department, our friendships and your wonderful wedding in Kansas City. We will always remember Mark as one of the finest individuals we have known. Mark was never rattled, always calm and steady under pressure. He was proud of his wife and daughters and grandson.
