COVERT, Marlynn Sue, Oct 19, 1960 Mar 23, 2012. Marlynn Sue Covert, age 51 of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She was born October 19, 1960 in Plainville, Kansas to James and Velma (Hoopes) Grimes. She is survived by her son, Tyler Covert; daughter, Autum (Josh) Gragg, all of North Platte; mother, Velma Grimes of Norton, Kansas; in-laws Vernon and Jane Covert of Osborne, Kansas; 5 sisters: Deb (Terry) Mavis of Sulphur, LA, Janet (Chuck) Look of Norton, Kansas, Valinda (deceased husband Mike) Luttig of York, Nebraska, Ruth (Monte) Shelite of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and Lori Grimes of Hays, Kansas; sister-in-law, Vickie (Mitch) Vandament of Osborne, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy; father, James Grimes; niece, Candice Grimes. There will be no visitation; cremation was chosen. MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1600 West E in North Platte, NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for medical expenses, in Marlynns name, in care of the church. Private Interment will be at Sumner Cemetery in Alton, Kansas at a later date.
