James Edward Martin Dec 16, 1945 Jun 26, 2015 Age 69, formerly of Council Bluffs, IA; passed away at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha. Born December 16, 1945 to Donald R. and Lauretta Martin. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1964 and served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was an Omaha Police Officer for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jo; his parents; sisters, Norma Jean and Donnita Harrod; brother, Robert Bud Martin. He is survived by son, Jason (Carrie); daughters, Carrie Martin and Amy Martin; granddaughters: Hailey, Abbie and Rileigh; brother, Don (Peggy). The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 30th from 3:30pm to 5pm at Cutler ONeill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa and from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Wednesday, July 1st at 10:30am at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park with military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503 and Omaha Police Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to Josie Harper Hospice House, or as directed by the family.
