Mary Ann Wordekemper

May 3, 1938 – Feb 20, 2018

Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Emma Heimann; husband, Thomas Wordekemper; sons, Randy and Rodney Wordekemper; grandson, Jordan; brother, Ervin Heimann.  Survived by children: LeAnn Shreve, Jodi Neuvirth, Russell Wordekemper, Patrick Wordekemper (Susan), Gail Wordekemper-Rasmus (Russell), and Kelli Wordekemper-Read (Perry); 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Ortmeier (Gilbert) and Virgene Retzlaff; sister-in-law, Arlene Heimann.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb. 25th from 3pm to 5pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 5pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL ON Monday, Feb. 26th at 10am at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 “Q” St. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to St. Gerald Catholic Church.

    Mary Ann was such a sweet and caring lady. She will be deeply missed. I have great memories of Tom and Mary Ann. I will cherish them for ever. Thinking of you all.

    So sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. Worked different depts at the WP hospital years ago, she was always fun! Saw Mary many times over the years, always had a great smile & friendly hello.
