SCHROEDER-Mary F., age 79 yrs. Born Mary Florence Luse in Omaha, 8/30/27; died in Omaha, 9/29/06. Raised in South Omaha, she married her high school sweetheart, Helmut “Hank” Schroeder in 1946 after graduation from South High School. She raised two sons and twin daughters while enjoying gardening and volunteering in the schools, along with jogging and walking. She was well-known for her skill as a cake decorator and her services were always in demand. She was the director of the Alleluia Preschool at Lutheran Church of the Master in Omaha for several years, enjoying teaching and working with children. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister. She is survived by sons: Kurt Schroeder and wife Kathy, Eric Schroeder and wife Lorri, all of Omaha; daughters: Marlene Chandler and husband Rob of Omaha, Madelene Robbins and husband John of Denver; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Lyle Luse and Bob Luse. She will be remembered fondly by all of her family friends and students. Memorial Service Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., Lutheran Church of the Master. Private Interment. Memorials to Alleluia Preschool at Lutheran Church of the Master. Visitation Monday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel.
