Sam and Family: So sad to hear about Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
My sincere sympathies to you Sam and your family. I lost my Mary in 2014. You never replace the times you had together but you have some great memories to sustain you. Thank you for the excellent math foundation you gave to our class as well as the excellent basketball coaching. Mary was there to support you and your boys the whole way.

Mary used to fix us lunch that first year I was away from home in Omaha when Steve would run home to do his laundry. She was like a mom away from home for me. Lots of laughter and lots of food! Just was a young naive kid from Omaha needed to make it through that freshman year. I can still hear her now… laughing, encouraging, while fixing all that food! What a great lady with a great legacy. Thanks for sharing her with us Steve.
I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I taught with her at Kearney Junior High School and always admired her as a teacher and friend.

Sam, we are saddened to read of Mary’s death. You two made such a fun pair, especially with your pickle parties! May God surround you and your family during this time of sorrow, and with time, may your remembrances turn into joyous memories. Our love, John and Peggy
