Our mother and grandmother Mary Jo lived a life of 80 years bringing smiles to everyone around her with her sweet nature and joyful demeanor. Mary Jo lived an optimistic life, had a special way of connecting with people through humor and kindness, and will be missed by her family dearly.
Mary lost her battle to COPD, lung cancer, and respiratory issues on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Mary had a genuine love for life and strong will to live and cared deeply for her family. A special thank you to Mary Jo’s legal guardian, Pam Carr, for years of advocacy and oversight of Mary.
1 Condolence
I want to express my sadness in Mary,s transition. We were roommates in her days at the skilled nursing center. She was a dear and loving soul who always smiled and brought humor to those around her. Our talks were always sincere and upbeat saying “she would never give up! I expressed to her how I would always admire and mirror her optimistic gestures. She was a gracious soul for which anyone knew was destined for heaven. I will always be reminded of you as we sang Silent Night. Thanks for etching.and sharing your divinessness into all you touched.
