Mary L. McFadden

August 28, 1938 – June 9, 2022

 Mary was born in Omaha to Frederick Horace and Marie Loretta Blake. She attended Holy Name grade school and Duchesne Academy high school. Mary attended and graduated from Creighton University, where she was Homecoming Queen in 1960. She taught 2nd grade at Paddock Road Elementary until her first child was born and later worked as a substitute teacher at Christ the King School for many years.

Mary is survived by her brother, Frederick Blake of Arizona. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary was preceded in death by husband, Vernon Frederick McFadden. She is survived by their five children: Mike (Mary Kate) McFadden, Matt (Gayle) McFadden, Mark (Stephanie) McFadden, Kathy (Walt) Kazor, and Tom McFadden; and sixteen grandchildren: Conor, Patrick, Molly, Sean, Brendan, and Danny McFadden; Quinn, Evan, and Josh McFadden; Caitlin, Natalie, and Blake McFadden; Danny and Kaylie Kazor; and Braydon and Riley McFadden.

VISITATION: Sunday, June 12th from 6pm to 7pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, June 13th at 10:30am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, with lunch immediately following.  Interment, Forrest Lawn.  Memorials are suggested to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.

    My sympathy to the family. You were very fortunate to have good Catholic parents and especially to have a grandmother to emulate in your lives.
