January 10, 1942 – April 16, 2023

Preceded by parents, Margaret and Emmet O’Keefe; sisters, Shirley O’Keefe, Ellen Braun; niece, Barbara Braun.

Survived by beloved husband of 58 years, Albert C. Coco, DDS; sister-in-law, Loretta Kuehn; brother-in-law, Joseph Coco; many nephews and nieces.

VISITATION: Thursday, April 20, 5pm, with 7pm VIGIL SERVICE, at Christ the King Catholic Church.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, 10am, Christ the King Catholic Church.

Interment: Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to Coco O’Connor Legacy Endowment Scholarship at Creighton University; Nebraska Humane Society; or charity of your choice.

    I still remember, many years ago, my one and only time as a ring boy at the wedding. And what an awesome marriage it became! Very sad to hear this.

    Dr. Coco the Parry family extends sincerest sympathy. We recall with fondness the stories of your travels and adventures with Mary Lee.     Donna and I were so sorry to hear of Mary Lee’s passing..We know she will be greatly missed. The time from our dental school days to now has gone by so quickly. Here we now are all in our twilight years. Donna and I still remember what gracious hosts you both were when we were in Washington D.C. during our military service.     Dear Al,
    We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your sweetheart and Creighton basketball buddy,,Mary Lee.. You both have been a wonderful asset to Creighton University and Omaha,,kind and generous. What a blessing to have shared these many years.together.

    The class of ‘66 had a special bond and kinsman ship that was special .

    Mary Lee was the perfect woman! You were a very lucky man! We did enjoy our time with her at many antique functions! She always hat that smile that wouldn’t go away!
