Dear Sue, Scott, Chris, Janet and Your Families: Thank You so much for letting us know but was So Sorry to hear of
Mary Lou’s passing. She and Stan bring back so many pleasant memories of the good times we had together over the years They were the Best of Friends and wish we could have lived closer in the later years to enjoy their company more often. While Mary Lou lived a long and productive life it is still most difficult to lose those we love and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Time takes its toll. You have our Deepest Sympathy in your loss and may Mary Lou “Rest in Peace”….with Stan at her side. Our Very Best to All…Dell & Marlene Fischer
Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of Stan and Mary Lou. I had the pleasure of meeting them fifty years ago in Minneapolis, and we lived close by after we moved to Omaha. They were a truly the most wonderful and friendly couple, and we will always cherish the memories of our visits. May they rest in peace together.
To the Sonnefelt children:
My deepest sympathy to you all. My husband, Don Martin (who passed away in 2000) worked with Stan at the Union Pacific for many years. We shared many dinners with your mom and dad. We were either entertaining customers or at employee functions. They were lovely people and always fun to be with! I am 94 and in Independent Living at the Heritage at Legacy. I am having my daughter Barb Ganey write this. Your mom and dad also frequently shopped at Younkers at Oakview. My son-in-law, Ed Ganey, was the store manger there for many years. He would also enjoy visiting with them and they always sent their good wishes to me. Please know it brings back very fond memories to think of Stan and Mary Lou. Love and prayers to you all.
