Mary Lou (Stanesic) Cavlovic

April 15, 1934 – February 9, 2022

Our beautiful Mom passed away peacefully at home after a short illness due to cancer.

Preceded in death by husband, Steve Cavlovic; parents, John and Mary Stanesic; brother, John Stanesic.  Survived by daughters: Cheryl Morgan (Phil), Connie Monastero (Joe), Denise Cavlovic (Tisha); grandson, Cameron Morgan; step grandchildren: Jon Monastero (Nicole), Kelly Rauch (Ian), Emiliano and Armondo Alvarez; step great-grandchildren: Alaina and Nolan Rauch, Josie Monastero; several fur grandbabies; numerous nieces and nephews; many dear friends.

Many thanks to her doctors and AseraCare for their care and support.  A most special thank you to her daughter, Denise for her loving and dignified care these past few weeks.

VISITATION: Sunday, February 13th from 1pm to 3pm followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 3pm, all at the West Center Chapel.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, February 14th at 10:30am at St Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific Street.  Interment: Private Family Burial at Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Humane Society or Make a Wish Foundation.

    Buck, I’m so sad to see you lost your mom. I was just thinking recently about the day we spent out searching for their dog. Mary Lou was beautiful person. I’m glad you got to spend time with her at the end. May your memories hold you through this difficult time. Always in my heart.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Our mother, Margaret McKeighan Stanesic passed away on February 9th as well. Maybe they will meet in heaven.

    Mary Lou always had a smile an a warm greeting for any any everyone! Always with a special sweetness that made her someone that when you think of an remember her she can still bring about a smile! She will be remembered an missed!

    My sympathy, I knew her as the past manager of Corrigan Sr. Center. She was so helpful to me and will be missed..
