Mary Margaret “Peg” Gatzke

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and grandaunt. Survived by husband, Don Gatzke; daughters: Jeni Guy (Shannon), Kristi Rowe, Kelly Hopkins (Andy), and Kati Engle (Jon); son, Scott Fritsch; stepsons: Len Gatzke, Ron Gatzke, and John Gatzke; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step grandchildren; brothers, Bob Dewhurst (Kathy) and Bill Dewhurst (Lou); many relatives and friends.
Peg graduated from the St. Joe School of Nursing and spent most of her life in Omaha until 2010, when Peg and Don traveled the USA and landed in Florida.
Peg’s MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held on Friday, Nov. 24th at 10:30am at St Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific St., followed by a Celebration of Life at 1pm at the Elks Lodge, 6410 S. 96th St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peg’s name may be made to Creighton School of Nursing, 2500 California Plaza, Omaha, NE 68178.

We will miss her sparkling smile and loving personality. Our deepest sympathies go out to you, Don and all the family. We love her very much and will always have the wonderful memories of her.
