Mary Barnhart and the entire Barnhart family were so kind and generous to so many people. She had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. I remember that she kindly provided snacks (and encouragement) to a group of high school kids who were studying physics in her basement. She knew that no high school kid could comprehend physics on an empty stomach. Thank you, Mary, for all the kindness (and the snacks).

Sending our condolences from the Tomek’s, particularly my mother Kay Tomek. She and Mary talked and have known each other from “The Woods” and other mutual friends.. We were very saddened to hear of her passing.and sending our sympathy to all of your family. While here these past years helping Mom, I saw Mary at her front door one day while I was walking. We had the most delighful conversation and Mom appreciated hermutual efforts to stay in touch through the years. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
