My husband, Jim (deceased) and I first met Mary Sue and Ed through the Schroens in anticipation of joining the Cathedral Bridge Club. All were very warm and congenial. We shared many good evenings of bridge and lots of laughs. They will remain forever in my heart. My sincere condolences to all. –Arva Herman

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I was so sorry to read in the Catholic Voice Mary Sue had passed away. I met Mary Sue more than 35 years ago through her association with West Omaha Rotary. Over the years I would bump into her at Cathedral often and always enjoyed visiting with your kind warm mother. She was a lovely person and a very proud mother. I will cherish my memories of your mom.
