Mary V. Super

September 29, 1922 – July 4, 2018

Mary Virginia Super, age 95, passed away on July 4, 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska. Mary was born on September 29, 1922 in Little Falls, MN, to Raymond and Marie (Randall) Reilly.  She was united in marriage to Leonard V. Super on April 10, 1943 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was a creative cook, unbothered by numbers to feed, and loved entertaining, often at their lake home. After retirement Mary and Len made their home in Texas where she enjoyed her visits to Mexico and the sweltering heat. They eventually moved to Omaha to be closer to family.

Mary is survived by sons: Thomas Super (Kathy) of Leesburg, VA, Richard Super of Omaha, Alan Super of Thousand Oaks, CA, Mark Super (Brenda) of Sacramento, CA, Michael Super (Pam) of Bismarck, ND, Stephen Super (Miriam) of Boston, MA; daughters: Patricia Hoss (William) of Omaha, Elizabeth Super (John Austin) of Clearwater, MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Louis (Sally) and Philip (Martina) Reilly; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Reilly. Mary was preceded in death by her husband and brother Raymond.

My husband, Chuck Randall, always considered Mary the matriarch of the Reilly. Randall. Stiegel clan. He and
I enjoyed our visits with Mary and Len in Texas. My sympathies to the Super and Reilly families. Mary leaves.a void. Mary Ann Randall

I will always remember Mary as a loving hostess who opened her home & lake place to my family. She made the best fettuccine alfredo! She will be so missed.. – Jen (Mike Super’s sister-in-law)

I am glad to know that Mary released her body and let her soul go to heaven after many days in hospice. I witnessed the love of her family by her side as I was honored to give them communion and pray with them for Mary. Rest In Peace.
