CHAMBERS, Matthew Thomas, Oct 29, 1978 Apr 29, 2009, of Wahoo, NE. Matthew was the third child and only son of Joan and James Chambers. He earned his Eagle Scout Award at the age of 15, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture at Northwest Missouri State University in 2003. Matthew loved being outdoors, especially working with plants, camping, exploring the coast of Oregon, and hiking in the national parks. He had a kindness towards hurting animals and a nonjudgmental acceptance of others in need. Matthew was loved very much by his family and friends, and his gentle kindness will be missed by all. He is survived by his parents, James and Joan; sisters: Melissa Nguyen and husband John, Melanie Bonacci and husband Tony, Mikayla Sjolin and husband Peter; nephew, Vinny; nieces, Simone and Phoebe; grandparents, Marius Philips and Marion Davies. VIGIL SERVICE Friday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. SERVICES Saturday, 10:30 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for MASS at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. VISITATION from 3:00 p.m. Friday at the West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Boy Scouts of America or Lauritzen Gardens.
